10-25-2013 Etiology Of Running Injuries At TPTA AC

Friday, 25 October 2013 00:00

Session notes: Etiology Of Running Injuries - an invited speaker presentation at the 2013 TPTA Annual Conference.

Course description: Participation in running as a fitness activity has increased dramatically over the past decade. Unfortunately, there is also a significant rate of injury, with greater than 60% of runners sustaining an injury within a given year. A sound understanding of the etiology of running injuries is critical not only for optimal injury recovery but also for effective injury prevention strategies.
